How to Delete a Chat in Klu Chat

Deleting a chat in Klu Chat is quick and easy. You can either use a keyboard shortcut for fast deletion or access the chat deletion option through the interface.

Option 1: Using the Command Palette

1. Open the Command Palette:
   • Press Ctrl + K (or Cmd + K on Mac) to open the command palette.
2. Search for "Delete":
   • Start typing "delete" in the search bar, and the "Delete Chat" option will appear.
3. Confirm Deletion:
   • Press Enter or click on the option to delete the chat.
   • A confirmation message may appear depending on your settings.

Option 2: Keyboard Shortcut

1. Focus on the Chat:
   • Navigate to the chat you wish to delete.
2. Press Esc to Enter Hotkey Mode:
   • This disables text input so you can use navigation shortcuts.
3. Delete the Chat:
   • Press Ctrl + D (or Cmd + D on Mac) to delete the current chat.
4. Confirm Deletion:
   • If you have confirmation enabled, confirm the action to permanently delete the chat.

Additional Notes:

• Deleted Chats Are Permanent: Once a chat is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Make sure to double-check before deleting any important conversations.
