Switching Between Models
Step 1: Open Klu Chat
- Launch Klu Chat either from your browser or from the installed desktop app (if you’ve set it up as a Chrome app).
Step 2: Access the AI Model Dropdown
- In the chat interface, locate the AI Model dropdown at the bottom right corner of the window (as shown in the screenshot).
Step 3: Select the AI Model

Click on the current AI model (e.g., OpenAI GPT-4-mini), and a list of available models will appear.

You will see options like:
- OpenAI (gpt-4-mini)
- Groq (llama3-groq-70b)
Step 4: Choose the Desired Model
- From the dropdown, click on the AI model you want to use. Once selected, Klu Chat will switch to this model for all future interactions in the current chat session.
Step 5: Continue Your Chat
- After selecting a new model, you can proceed to ask questions or run your workflow. Klu will use the chosen model for generating responses.
Why Switch Models?
- Task-Specific Optimization: Some models may be better suited for specific tasks (e.g., generating long-form content vs. retrieving precise factual information).
- Performance and Speed: Different models may offer varying speeds or costs, allowing you to optimize performance based on your needs.
Pro Tip:
- Experiment with different models to find the one that works best for your workflows. You can switch models at any time during a conversation if you feel a different one may yield better results.
